Health & Nutrition Caching T&Cs

Health & Nutrition Coaching is a collaborative process with an ongoing relationship between the Client and Coach. The coaching experience supports the Client in establishing new healthy behaviours for a more balanced lifestyle. The coaching relationship is strengths-based, forward-looking, and collaborative.

The coaching agenda is developed and implemented in partnership between the Client and Coach. The role of the Coach is to help the Client progress toward achieving their stated health & nutrition goals.

  • The Client and Coach agree to engage fully in the coaching experience.
  • The pace of change is uncertain and varies amongst individuals. As such, the Client and Coach agree to complete the agreed number of sessions or chosen programme with full commitment to the process.
  • The Client recognizes that coaching is not therapy, counselling, or consulting.

Confidentiality

The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowable by law.

  • The Coach may refer to certain cases as a learning tool for others, but clients will always remain anonymous.
  • The Coach, in the interests of professional development, will report to a Coaching Supervisor at times and may discuss a client case, however no name or identifiable information will be shared.
  • No personal information will be shared with anyone without the Client’s express permission. Exceptions may be made if there is an imminent threat of serious injury to oneself or someone else.
  • Coaching Commitment

By entering into this relationship, the Client and Coach acknowledge that the Client desires to make a behavioural change or some type of Health & Nutrition improvement in their life. Behavioural change often takes time to implement and sustain. The pace of change is uncertain and varies amongst individuals. As such, the Client and Coach agree to commit fully to the agreed programme and to each fulfil their role within reasonable parameters. The Coach cannot guarantee results and the Client takes full responsibility for whether changes are made or improvements are committed to.

Accountability:

The client holds the power for change, and I as the coach will facilitate and partner you through this change

Coaching operates as a partnership, as a coach I am here to support, to challenge you and also to hold a space for you to make the changes that you choose to make as agreed within our coaching sessions

You as a client are responsible for making any changes agreed during coaching.

The power for change rests with you

Within coaching both client and coach are 100% responsible for the coaching relationship.

Termination

If I feel as we progress through our sessions that your needs are falling outside of my Scope of Practice (SOP) I may terminate our coaching agreement and a full refund will be made.

If I become aware that your requirements are outside of my range of competencies or SOP then I will refer you to a more suitable practitioner whose scope of practice is more relevant.

Referrals

As I coach you, it may become apparent to me that another modality may be of use to you in meeting your goals. This could be counselling, acupuncture, osteopathy, psychotherapy etc. and if this occurs, I will discuss this with you in session. If that means that our coaching sessions no longer serve you a full refund will be made.

Wishing you great health x
